The Bank of Coushatta has co-existed with many generations of Coushatta and Red River Parish. It has existed in three different centuries, 1800s, 1900s, and 2000s. During this time frame there have been many changes in our community, our state, and our country. Many in our community have passed through the Bank's doors over the centuries, including customers, employees, boards, and presidents. The Bank of Coushatta was one of few buildings and businesses that survived the Coushatta Fire of 1918. It was the only local bank to survive the Great Depression of the late 1920s and 1930s. Our community and the Bank of Coushatta have continued to grow and modernize.
As we move forward, we will maintain the same vision that has kept Bank of Coushatta present and successful through all the years. That vision is to provide for our customers the services that they expect and deserve. As changes in services are needed, we will change. As new products are developed in the banking industry, we will offer them. As new technologies become available, we will implement them.
Although we are much larger than the small bank that began in 1897, we are still small enough to know you and eager to serve you. Thank you for being our customer. We know you will experience the satisfaction associated with doing business with a locally owned and operated Community Bank that treasures your business.
We look forward to serving you in the years to come.
